Terms of Service.
Clear rules for all.

The conditions governing the use of TempMail’s temporary email services.

Last updated:

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using TempMail at https://www.temp-mail.services/ (“the Website,” “our Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Nature and scope of service

TempMail is a free online utility designed to generate short-lived, disposable email addresses for short-term verification tasks, software testing, and spam reduction. We provide:

  • Regular temporary domain inboxes: Randomly generated addresses hosted on active domains configured for this service, available on our homepage.
  • 10 Minute Mail inboxes: Fast-expiring addresses operating on an active 10-minute countdown timer, ideal for rapid OTP codes and single-use verifications.
  • Gmail Temp inboxes: Ephemeral aliases derived from central administrator-connected Gmail mailboxes utilizing Google OAuth 2.0 read-only integration.

TempMail operates without mandatory user registration, passwords, credit card requirements, or personal identity verification. The Service does not provide permanent email accounts, password-authenticated private mailboxes, or outbound emailing capabilities.

3. Acceptable use policy

You agree to use TempMail solely for lawful purposes in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. You shall not use or attempt to use the Service:

  • To engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or malicious activities.
  • To distribute malware, trojans, viruses, worms, phishing payloads, or harmful computer code.
  • To conduct denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, brute-force requests, or automated scraping that impairs server stability or performance.
  • To circumvent or breach account security systems, rate limits, or verification mechanisms of third-party platforms in violation of their terms of service.
  • To harass, threaten, defraud, defame, or impersonate any person, business, or entity.
  • To register accounts intended for financial fraud, money laundering, identity theft, or unauthorized payment transactions.

We reserve the right to immediately block IP addresses, domain names, or connection signatures that violate this Acceptable Use Policy, without prior notice.

4. Receive-only email restrictions

Our infrastructure operates strictly on an inbound, receive-only basis. Users cannot compose outbound messages, reply to emails, or forward mail to external addresses. This architectural restriction protects network reputation and completely prevents outgoing spam dissemination.

5. Service availability, expiry, and data retention

Temporary inboxes are ephemeral by definition. You understand and accept that:

  • Automatic Expiration: Inboxes expire automatically based on their designated lifespan (10 minutes for 10-Minute Mail, default 24 hours for regular domain inboxes, and configured lifespans for Gmail aliases).
  • Closure of Public Access: Reaching the expiration timestamp or clicking “Delete” immediately and permanently closes public web access to that address (returning HTTP 404). Once expired or deleted, public users cannot view, read, or recover the inbox or its messages.
  • No Public Recovery Tool: TempMail provides no data recovery mechanism. Once an address expires or its browser token is discarded, public access cannot be restored.
  • Administrative Retention: In accordance with our Privacy Policy, expired mailbox records and technical delivery payloads are securely retained in non-public database storage solely for system stability, rate limiting, anti-spam abuse monitoring, and administrative security review until removed during administrative purges. Individual messages deleted by a user via the regular web reader are immediately removed from the active database.
  • Delivery Limitations: We do not guarantee that third-party platforms will accept our temporary domains or Gmail aliases. Senders may block disposable domains at their discretion. Message delivery speeds depend on external mail transfer agents, network conditions, and spam filtering algorithms outside our control.

6. Third-party trademarks and non-affiliation

Google LLC & Gmail Non-Affiliation: “Gmail” and “Google” are registered trademarks of Google LLC. TempMail is an independent web application and is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Google LLC or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.

Any reference to “Gmail” on this website refers solely to the technical routing of email aliases to administrator-authorized Google mailboxes via public Google OAuth 2.0 read-only APIs, and does not imply any partnership or endorsement.

All other product names, logos, brands, trademarks, and registered trademarks mentioned on this website (including Instagram, Meta, and others) are property of their respective owners.

7. Advertising and monetization disclosure

TempMail is a free digital utility supported by third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertisements are served in accordance with Google AdSense Publisher Policies and our Privacy Policy. Advertisers and ad networks may place cookies to serve relevant ads, prevent ad fraud, and evaluate viewability. TempMail maintains a strict firewall between email processing infrastructure and advertising scripts, ensuring private email data is never shared with advertisers.

8. Disclaimers of warranty

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TempMail expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and title.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, operate uninterrupted, be secure or error-free, or that email messages will always arrive without delay.

9. Limitation of liability and indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall TempMail, its operators, affiliates, agents, or infrastructure providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of data, loss of profits, account lockout, or financial injury arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TempMail and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

10. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms of Service and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in Rajkot, Gujarat, India, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of such courts.

11. Modifications to terms and service

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service, or revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Website following any changes constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms.
