A temporary Gmail inbox for everyday tasks
Receive a one-time link, test email delivery in your app, or keep a brief sign-up separate from your personal inbox. Your generated address ends in @gmail.com, with a plus suffix or dots added to the username.
How to use your Gmail temporary email
- Get an address. Choose Change to create an available Gmail alias.
- Copy and use it. Paste the exact address into the service that will send your message.
- Check this inbox. Messages are checked every three seconds while this page is visible. Use Refresh inbox to check sooner.
- Read before expiry. Select a message to open it. Your expiry time appears beneath the address.
Plus and dot aliases
A plus alias adds a suffix, such as example+abc@gmail.com. A dot alias adds dots, such as ex.ample@gmail.com. Both deliver to the connected Gmail account, and this service displays messages that match your generated alias. Available alias types are managed by the site administrator.
Keep your inbox available
Your access is saved in this browser until the inbox expires. Return using the same browser to read your messages. Generating another address replaces the inbox shown here. Do not use a temporary inbox for sensitive messages or accounts that need long-term password recovery.
Frequently asked questions
Can I send emails from this address?
No. This service reads incoming mail only. It cannot send, delete, or mark messages as read in Gmail.
Why has my message not appeared?
Use the exact generated address and try Refresh inbox. Delivery can take time, and some websites reject temporary aliases or remove their plus suffix. Forwarded messages may not include enough recipient information to match your alias.
Is this a new Gmail account?
No. It is an alias of a Gmail account managed by this service. The connected account owner can also see incoming mail.
Can I use the same inbox forever?
No. Inboxes expire at the time shown above. Use a permanent email address for important accounts and future messages.
